• Honorably discharged from the  Republic of Korea Army (as a member of the Army Taekwondo Team)

• Gained competitive coaching experiences in Maryland, USA before joining Young Park Martial Arts

• 2024 World Taekwondo Jidokwan Federation Leadership Award Winner (awarded to a master with at least 20 years of exemplary coaching and leadership). *Jidokwan is one of the original 9 Taekwondo schools in Korea, founded in 1946 and has thousands of affiliated schools in the world.
